Seller: handworn (2,931) 100%, Location: Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, Ships to: US, Item: 264060933802 This is a Salter's mechanical clock jack of the sort used to rotate roasting meat before a fire in Victorian kitchens (like a rotisserie today, but vertically oriented instead of horizontally). I don't have a key, so I can't tell if it works. It still has the "crown" used to hold the meat, though part of it was broken and repaired. Still, this is a neat and fun decorative collectible for a period kitchen. Please examine the photos in detail. Contact me with any questions. Thanks for looking!
